FIXED BUG: BOSS WAS SUPER LOUD

Basically creepypasta made real. There's some ARG background lore, but that's unfinished. Essentially, it's a lost game from the 90s that never released for due to being too creepy for Nintendo, made by a crazy director and a reluctant team that believed in his previous talent and vision - it's unclear how much some... metaphysical or psychological factors may have influenced the team.

But since there's none of that I guess I am the crazy director. The meta only gets deeper, don't it?

Controls:

Arrow keys - Move your character.

Z (A) - Attack. The closer you are the more damage you deal.

X (B) - Dodge.

F1 (Start) - Toggle hitbox on.

F2 (Select) - Toggle hitbox off.

KNOWN BUGS:

  • Inconsequential physics oddities when moving while colliding with a wall. 
  • Walking diagonally down and to the left immediately after getting hit will result in a second hit - very unclear why. It's a hitbox issue, as the enemy hitboxes in the GBJAM release version are really big, and thus you're likely to be caught in the radius of an enemy various times as your invincibility state wanes.
  • Due to the way attacks work, you'll do more damage if you're right next to an enemy because an extra attack beam will spawn due to the first beam being deleted too quickly. This has become a feature.
